Our neighbor across the street came over and helped cut down broken branches. He pulled branches off the roof and even cut up some of the larger branches. He was able to take some of those home for firewood. But then he went across the street the other direction and trimmed their trees. He spent a long time this morning working on trees that weren't his - very kind. Maybe I will take him some cookies or something.
We loaded up the back of our truck with a load and headed toward the dump - but didn't actually dump anything because our 4 wheel drive is out of order for the moment. We were actually planning on fixing it this month. Now it may be to cold to get under that truck for my dad at 78 (almost) years old. Anyway, my sister used her truck and all total, we made 5 trips to the dump. It was a lot of fun slipping and sliding through that mud.
We finally ate at 1:30 after we got everything taken care of. We rewarded ourselves with McDonalds.
Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful week. I know mine will be long since I have recess duty this week and we DO go outside in the snow. Oh well, we only have 4 days of school this week as hunting season is open and Friday is great holiday for that!

Snow!!!! That is so insane. And here we are enjoying our "chilly" 70 degree weather. It'll warm back up into the 90s this week, though. Bummer. Hope you guys are well!
